Mercury: Dream To Open School Takes Shape

July 2, 2010, 4:43 am - by Dominik

  • The foundation gets local media exposure.
  • Received positive feedback from public.
  • Future events are coming.

On the 30th of June 2010, World Without Boundaries Foundation got some much needed media exposure in the local Southern Tasmanian paper The Mercury.

The article can be read here: Mercury: Dream to open school takes shape

It has only been two days and the article has already provided positive results.

Several local schools contacted us to visit them to tell them our story about the building of the school. Some schools have offered to publish our story in their local school magazine to spread the word further to others.

Other groups such as Southern Rotary also requested that we provide them with a presentation on the project.

Two of the biggest successes from the article thus far have been the offer to host a quiz night, which will be help in August 2010. Full details will become available at a later date. Also we have received an offer to help us with future marketing material.

I would like to end this short news update with a sincere thank you to The Mercury for supporting us by providing space in the paper, giving us a boost into the public light. Also thank you to everyone who has rang us and shown interest in helping us achieve our dream.

If you would like to get involved and have any other great ideas, please feel free to contact us and we will get back to you.
