Walk For Education Supported By Tasmanians

- Awak and the team made it safe to Hobart.
- Event raises $7539 due to Tasmanian's generosity.
- Thank you to all for your kind contributions.
The walk for education was done to raise awareness of the grueling condition Awak Mathok had to endure as a refuge and to help fundraise money toward the One Tree School Project.
The walk from Launceston to Hobart to place on between 24 November 2012 and took 8 days to complete the 210 km walk.
Thanks to the generosity of all Tasmanian's along the way the walk managed to raise $7539.
The walkers live easier made a little easier with accommodations and food being kindly offered by Ross village Bakery and also the Rotary Club of Oatlands.
